Description

Amarena Whole Sour Cherries Arabeschi is a candied cherry topping from PreGel of Italy, made with 50% amarena cherries in a sweet syrup for topping and filling gelato, ice cream, and pastry desserts.

The cherries keep their deep red color and glossy sheen in a thick, sweet syrup, delivering a tart cherry bite balanced by the surrounding sugar. Gelato makers and pastry chefs use the cherries to ripple through bases, fill pastries and tarts, or finish plated desserts with a bright, glistening garnish.

Amarena Sour Cherries are also available as Amarena Cherry Pieces in Kirsch Arabeschi, a cherry variegate made with kirsch liqueur.

Instructions

Application
  • Use directly from the tin to ripple, fill, or garnish gelato, ice cream, and pastry desserts, dosed to taste.
  • Cherries may contain pits, so check before using in items served whole.
Storage
  • Store unopened tins in a dry, cool place at 15 to 20°C (59 to 68°F), with relative humidity at 65% or below.
